The Commissioner of the Somali Custodial Corps Major General Bashir Mohamed Jama and some other officials including the deputy Somali Custodial Corps Commissioner brigadier Elmi Waasuge Olow have on Monday supervised the inmates training industry.

The Commissioner and the other officials have gone round to inspect the different sectors of the industry which produces varieties of materials which are entirely handmade by the inmates in Mogadishu central jail.

"The technical handcrafts made by the inmates working in Mogadishu central jail industry which currently produces office materials, University materials, riffles for salutes and other materials will be soon vastly enhanced” said Major General Bashir.

Since Major General Bashir has taken the office he has tremendously the shape of the Somali Prison Wards and the prisoners as well, just last week the Major General has dispatched varieties of equipments to Baidoa Prison and the Prisoners.
