The local residents in Baladweyn town the headquarters if Hiraan region in central Somalia, have on Monday held a colorful ceremony in which they were congratulating the President of the Republic of Djibouti Ishmael Omar Gelle, for his Presidential win for the 4thterm

The district commissioner of the town Mr. Moalim Osman Qalafow and the town mayor said that they are sending their sincere heartfelt congratulation to the President of Djibouti for his landslide victory as the president of Djibouti.

The regional police commissioner Colonel Ali Duuh and the regional military commander Colonel Tawane Ahmed Gurey have as well both sent their candid congratulation to the President of Djibouti for his win as the President of Djibouti in the recent general election in the country.

The commander of the Djiboutian troops in Baladweyn who are part of the African Union Mission in Somalia Colonel Hassan Jama, who has attended the ceremony addressed the participants.

"It is great honor for to attend this enormous ceremony, and I am very cheerful to share with you this moment in which you are sending your congrats to the President of my country His Excellency Ishmael Omar Gelle, and we have been here in Baladweyn town for the last 3 years, and during these years we our troops have immensely taken part of the security and the development in the entire of Hiraan region in particular in Baladweyn town” said Colonel Jama the commander of the Djiboutian troops in Baladweyn.

Finally the regional commissioner of Hiraan region Mr. Yusuf Ahmed Hagar [Dabageed] said that the residents of Baladweyn and the administration will never ever forget the support of the Djiboutia government and its troops on the ground.
