SNA attacks Al shabaab base in Baay region, says official

Government official said Somali national army (SNA) forces have launched an attack on Al shabaab base in Baay region, South of Somalia.
Confirming the incident, Military Commander who is in Burhakabo said that the attack took place at Al shabaab base near Bur Eyle village, where Al shabaab fighters had planed assaults against Somali Notional Army and AMISOM in the past.
He said security of the rural villages near Burhakabo town in Baay region have been beefed up after the federal government troops pushed Al shabaab out of its key strongholds in Baay region.
