The autonomous state of Southwest State of Somalia has on Monday given new weapons to newly recruited soldiers at Bardale district in Baay region.

These soldiers have under gone 6 months of military training and it happened today that they officially received their entire required military equipment

The Minister for information in the Southwest State has told the press that the main purpose of the recruitment of these soldiers is that they should eliminate Alshabab militias from the few locations in the Southwest territory

"It happened to that we have successfully handed over military equipment to the soldiers who have successfully accomplished their military training, and soon we are expecting these military personnel to eradicate Alshabab fighters from the remaining few locations in our administration” said Mr. Hassan Abdi Mohamed the Minister for information in Southwest State.

The administration of the Southwest State of Somalia, is putting extra effort in building strong military men who would oust Alshabab fighters within their territory.
